Track Of The Day: The Pass - "Alone Again"

I've been waiting over a year and a half for this track to be released.  I wasn't sure what Louisville's electronic heroes, The Pass, were going to call the track, but I remember the first time hearing it live and thinking this band has reached a new level.  Their first two albums were heavily reliant on just being fun and dance oriented (and they succeeded).  With "Alone Again" the listener finally gets to hear their talent shine.

The obvious highlight is frontman Kyle Peters' booming voice that seems to rise and rise with passion from verse to chorus to end.  The music itself swirls and builds, resulting in one of the biggest summer jams with only one problem, it was released in the fall/winter months.  I fully expect the entirety of Melt to be a huge step forward for The Pass and I have no problem with them releasing smart, talent filled summer tunes to break through the bleakness of months to come.
