Pussy Riot Members Released!

Here's some good news to start off your Holiday Week with, Pussy Riot's last two jailed members, Nadezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina, were released today after being granted amnesty by the Russian government last week. Upon her release, Alyokhina dismissed her dismissal as a publicity stunt. Tolokonnikova also didn't mince her words:

"I saw this small totalitarian machine from the inside," the 24-year-old said. "Russia indeed works just the way the prison colony. That's why it's so important to change colonies so that Russia would change, too."
