Dear Mr. Dale Eisinger,

I am writing to inform you that you can now hear the "Little Modernski" Suite on Bandcamp, iTunes, and Soundcloud. The "Little Modernski" Suite is a piece of music by Thrillington. It is avant-garde classical music played by musical illiterates.  It digests neo-Stravinskian crapola for you. It features singing by (America's) Mayor Rudolph Giuliani.

Thrillington is a rock band, although they oppose improvisation and ecstatic communion. Thrillington knows that these spring from a reified false subjectivity. 

There is nothing new under the sun. 

Thrillington is music for the end of history.

Are these drums sequenced? How was this recorded? Who performed this? You play bass, right? Did you play on this recording?

Hi Dale,

Everything was recorded in Greenpoint at Spaceman Sound. The bass and drums were recorded live, and then the synths were overdubbed. And yes, that's me on the recording. I have cc'd Andrei, the composer - he can tell you more about the recording and mixing process (I pretty much just showed up and played). 

Here's some more info about the band:

Thrillington is Andrei Pohorelsky (keys/vocals/compositions), Marcelo Nomura (synths), Willy Coon (drums), and Molly Auerbach (electric bass). 

We know each other because we grew up together in Brooklyn. 

None of us know anything about music. 

The "Little Modernski" Suite is our second EP. We released a song cycle of sorts called The 1000 Pointing Fingers this past Summer.
