Our first taste from Tallest Man on Earth's new LP There's No Leaving Now (out June 12 via Dead Oceans) is "1904" an understated ethereal track about rumblings underground. Kristian Matsson's work has been some of the strongest of the past few years. If his guitar strikes aren't as loud as before, his demeanor a bit laid back, this hornish croon a bit tempered on this track, you'll have to stop and ponder the lyrics which recall the moment of serenity and possibility after everything's been destroyed.
