Hopscotch Music Festival Reveals Top Notch Lineup

Whenever you have Lambchop on the fourth line of a music festival lineup poster, that means something special is happening.  Raleigh, North Carolina's Hopscotch Festival revealed today a music festival lineup that might just be the best of 2012 for the sheer amount of legendary names mixed with exciting up and coming acts.  Some of the bigger names are The Roots, The Jesus And Mary Chain, Built To Spill, Yo La Tengo, Liars, Sunn O))), Thee Oh Sees, Deerhoof, The Mountain Goats, Lambchop, and Dan Deacon.  Come for the big names, but stay for the wonderful new bands/artists like Hundred Waters, Louisville's Nerves Junior, Amen Dunes, and hundreds more.  I'll be there and you should think about making the trip down to NC for a wonderful mixture of sure fire legends and days packed with musical discovery on the smaller band/artist side.

Three Day VIP passes are sold out.  Regular three day passes are going quick so snatch them up.

  1. This has to be a joke. If I can knock out The Jesus And Mary Chain, Yo La Tengo, and Liars in the same weekend, I can quit going to live music.
