SXSW 2012 UTOPiA Session: Houndmouth

We Listen For You teamed up with Culture Map, UTOPiA Fest, and Onion Creek Productions to bring you some wonderful live video sessions from SXSW 2012.  The videos were shot at the Wheeler Brothers house and have been turning out great.

The first band featured is a name we've been telling you to look out for: Houndmouth.  Blazing a similar trail as the Alabama Shakes, they define their music as "recession rock" and it's filled to the brim with powerful melodies and emotional vocals.  My hometown of Louisville has been going crazy for Houndmouth and it's only a matter of time before they become a household name.  Jump on the train early and check them out.
