What makes a breakup song good? Fleet Foxes frontman Robin Pecknold posits an answer in the form of a song "Olivia, In a Separate Bed" which is about as heart wrenching a track as we've heard this year. Without the Foxes in harmony behind, Pecknold's vocals sound lonely and fragile. The moments of out of tune strumming highlighting the heartbreak. It's about as authentic as a sound can get--immediate and beautiful, too.
