Win Tickets To See Eleanor Friedberger In LA

This Friday (2/3) Eleanor Friedberger is playing live at the Troubadour in Los Angeles and we have a pair of tickets to give away.  Last Summer was WLFY's official soundtrack to the summer of 2011 with its laid back, yet catchy songwriting highlighted by wonderful stories expanded on from personal memories.  Win or lose, I highly recommend coming out Friday and seeing one of the best singer/songwriters we have going right now.

Now to contest:  In the comment section below tell us why you should win these tickets.  Wait a second, it's not that easy, come on.  In your explanation, you must use at least one word from each song title on Last Summer.  They don't have to be in order, but one word from all eleven tracks must be used to win.  Because the album came out in 2011...you can only use eleven additional words not counting the song title words to build your reason.  Get crazy and creative...and good luck.  (Please include your @ name on twitter or e-mail address so we can contact you if your comment is selected.)

  1. My year would be made early (one-month) if you gave me the tickets. Hope Roosevelt from Heaven finds somewhere to park.

  2. My Seventh Heaven wouldn't be Bensonhurst, or an Early Marathon in the Park against Roosevelt - it'd be two Gold tickets Tonight.

  3. I'm not in town, so don't pick me, but I still thought I'd play:

Early tickets? I’ll give Roosevelt Head in Heaven Tonight, or for One-Month, or even a Year.

  4. Eleanor's music is my ray from heaven. Like a gold island that makes my head fall apart with an earthquake marathon.
